Grand Oaks Stage Gators Dazzle at CMEA Conference

The Grand Oaks Stage Gators proudly showcased their outstanding musical talent at the prestigious California Music Educators Association (CMEA) Conference, joining four other schools in this remarkable opportunity.

Congratulations to the Grand Oaks Stage Gators for this incredible achievement and for representing our school with such pride and excellence!

Lego Night

Over 93 families came together at the first Lego night at Grand Oaks Elementary School on Jan. 31. Students and families worked together to creatively build a sea or land animal, a locomotive and a tall building. The tall building models were then brought to a shaker table to test their durability!

Anvitha Samineni holding her certificate received at the 2025 California State Seal of Biliteracy Recognition Ceremony

Anvitha Samineni, a 12th grader from Mira Loma High School, was in the spotlight as a student speaker at the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) 2025 California State Seal of Biliteracy Recognition Ceremony. 

Samineni was one of the over 400 students across the San Juan Unified School District to receive the California State Seal of Biliteracy.
