-
Aleshia Kelly, 4th grade - My name is Aleshia Kelly and I will be teaching 4th grade this year at Grand Oaks. I have lived in Sacramento my whole life with my mom, dad, and brother. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, going to the movies, eating sushi and enjoying a cold drink from Dutch Brothers. I have always had a passion for teaching growing up and I am excited to start my own teaching journey here at Grand Oaks. Growing up, many of my hobbies included cheerleading, being a part of student government which gave me the drive to take on roles as a leader as I entered the field of education. I have had many jobs in my lifetime, which includes Aeropostale, KinderCare, Sketchers and Bath and Body works. These jobs have helped build my strengths in communication and leadership which is very vital in the field of education. I am excited to get to know the rest of the staff, students, and families at Grand Oaks and to have a great year of learning new things and working towards becoming a great teacher.

Holly Myers, .5 Resource Teacher Hello all! I am Mrs. Myers and am so excited to be part of San Juan Unified School District. I have been teaching for 14 years, both in general education and special education. I have taught in Sacramento, California, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Denver, Colorado! My favorite spot is Sacramento! I am married to a USMC veteran, have three daughters, and two crazy dogs. In my spare time, I can be found by the river in my kayak, out camping, or working on a puzzle with my family.

Jessica Sutton, Attendance Clerk Empowering young minds has always been my passion. Witnessing their triumphs and progress brings me immense joy, and collaborating with like minded professionals in an educational setting has been a dream realized. I am excited to continue this meaningful work in a different setting and looking forward to the 2024-2025 school year. Let’s GO Gators!
