Principal's Message

Dear Grand Oaks Gator Families,

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new principal of Grand Oaks Elementary. I am truly honored to join a school community that is rich in dedication, heart, and an unwavering commitment to our students. As we begin this new school year together, I look forward to building strong connections with our families, staff, and students.

At Grand Oaks, our teachers are passionate about creating safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments where every child feels supported to grow both academically and socially. In addition to our academic goals, we place a strong emphasis on social-emotional learning, recognizing that nurturing the whole child is essential for lasting success.

We share a vision of Grand Oaks as more than just a school — we see it as a respected community hub, where strong relationships and active family involvement are the foundation of our success. Our teachers deeply love what they do, especially when it comes to fostering a lifelong love of reading and learning in our students. They cherish the tight-knit, welcoming spirit that makes Grand Oaks feel like a second home, and we are committed to ensuring that every family feels valued and connected.

To kick off this year and start building those relationships, I warmly invite all our families to join us for our Teacher Meet and Greet Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, August 13 from 4:00–5:30 PM. This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to meet your child’s teacher, enjoy a sweet treat, get involved with the PTA, and begin the school year with smiles and connection. Next up is Back to School night on August 27 from 5:30-7 PM.
